My weekends are now booked up until the end of 2021, so this is an opportunity to run the trails with me, get some coaching advice and learn the techniques that help you run trails much more effectively and efficiently.
Some pictures from our recent 2020 Peak District Trail Running events
The half day includes:
– A guided trail run with ample opportunity to rest and take in the stunning views in this part of the beautiful Peak District
– An opportunity for you to ask Coaching questions to help you run more efficiently on the trails
– Advice from Geoff (winner of his clubs Welsh 3000’s mountain ultra race for 7 consecutive years, 2nd in category in Bangor 10K, 7th in 2019 Snowdon 12K trail race) on trail running technique, applicable to road or trail
We’ll be running in the incredible Peak District National Park with it’s stunning views out over five Counties, running along the incredible Stanage Edge, taking in Roman Roads and Reservoirs too!
An incredible route, which we will fully navigate for you, so you don’t have to worry and instead enjoy the views!
What did David, Kate and Kelly think of their Peak District Running half days with Geoff?
Time: 10:30am to 14:00pm
This event is designed for those who have already done some trail running and are content and able to include some small hills and rough terrain. This means we will be on trails which will include uphill sections (although we won’t be climbing for extended periods of time) and some rougher and boggy ground.
The distance will be between 7 to 9 miles. Our pace will be easy going, and Geoff will be with the group throughout.
Saturday 9th October 2021 Beginners Improver
** We will meet at the Car park or Lay-By at Burbage Bridge – Grid Ref 260830 Sat Nav (nearest) Ringinglow Rd, Hope Valley S32 1BR**
Please note there is no mobile reception in the vicinity or throughout the run, and parking is extremely limited, arriving a little early is advised. Parking is available at either a car park or lay-by.
Spaces are limited so don’t miss your chance to come along
I look forward to running with you!
