The intermediate weekend is back! It’s been 5 months so it’s going to be a really fun couple of days trail running, out in a very beautiful part of Wales, I do a fair amount of running out there and know some lovely trails which show the mountains and lakes at their best – we will get to see parts of the national park that very few other runners get to see.
And if you’ve already heard of my trail running events you’ll know how popular they are and the high standard we set, which has earnt us 100 plus 5 star reviews on Facebook. Read on to find out why our guests keep coming back…
The weekend is designed for runners who have done some trail running and want to improve, so we’ll be running slightly higher mileage than on my beginners or beginners improver weekends, around 14 plus miles on Saturday and 8 to 10 miles on Sunday.
The terrain is mixed and with some climbs but won’t be overly challenging.
So apart from running what else is included?
Breakfast and lunches are included on Saturday and Sunday and a 2 course evening meal will be provided on Friday and Saturday evenings.
All of our meals are cooked by our private chef and can be catered to your own specific needs, should you have any, and it will all be nutritionally designed for runners.
After eating if you want to visit the local inns they’re only down the lane, and have fantastic selections of gin, wine, beer, lager and whiskies, along with a superb atmospheres too.

We will cover many of the questions runners ask when it comes to nutrition, how to prepare meals that actually help, what to eat while running, how to avoid upset stomachs while running, what to eat during training, as well as before, during and after your race and also how to provide the right nutrition during a taper period, along with lots of other useful tips and strategies.
