Come and join us in the Peak District for a fantastic weekend hiking on some of the most spectacular trails in this stunning location
This is the very first Hiking weekend we’ve organised and we’ll be walking in the beautiful Peak District National Park.
Based in a National Trust bunkhouse the views are simply stunning and the walking is really first class!
And if you’ve already heard of my trail running events you’ll know how popular they are and the high standard we set, which has earnt us 100 plus 5 star reviews on Facebook. Read on to find out why our guests keep coming back…
The weekend is designed for beginners and those who have done some hiking or perhaps have tried some and love it, and want to walk in a no-pressure environment while enjoying some stunning views.
So apart from running what else is included?
Breakfast and lunches are included on Saturday and Sunday and a 2 course evening meal will be provided on Friday and Saturday evenings.
All of our meals are cooked by our private chef and can be catered to your own specific needs, should you have any, and it will all be nutritionally designed for us.
After eating if you want to visit the local inns they’renearby, and have fantastic selections of gin, wine, beer, lager and whiskies, along with superb atmospheres too.
What do other runners think of my events? Let them tell you themselves in the following video…..

Where will we be staying?
We will be staying ‘off the beaten track’ in this 20-sleeper bunkhouse; its isolated location, deep in the Edale Valley, means there are no public roads leading to it. A single, narrow track will guide you to this rural hideaway, where you’ll be surrounded only by working farmland, grazing sheep and a tumbling stream at the bottom of the garden.
Inside offers plenty of space to relax among its rustic exposed beams and low doorways. You’ll have three bedrooms to divide into and a communal living and dining area with sofas and a cosy log burner to huddle around. There’s even a payphone for when your phone signal drops out.
Its location, in the heart of the Peak District, means you’ll be in perfect walking and cycling territory. The fluffy moorland and jagged gritstone of Dark Peak can be walked to in an hour or driven to in 15 minutes. From here you can also hike to stargazing haven Mam Tor, which has some of the darkest skies in the UK.
Your accommodation is also included in the price, which is £199.99 per person for the full weekend.
Should you want to secure a private room for 2, 3 or 4 people these are available on a per person supplemental basis, please send email@example.com a message for more details about this.
I look forward to walking with you!
The dates are 3rd, 4th and 5th of December 2021
