We’re back in Snowdonia with my super popular trail running half days!
My weekends are now booked up until September 2020, so this is an opportunity to run the trails with me, get some coaching advice and learn the techniques that help you run trails much more effectively and efficiently.
The half day includes:
– A guided trail run with ample opportunity to rest and take in the stunning views along the beautiful trails around Betws y Coed
– Lots of opportunities for you to ask Coaching questions to help you run more efficiently on the trails – Advice from Geoff (winner of his clubs Welsh 3000’s mountain ultra race for 7 consecutive years, 2nd in category in Bangor 10K, 7th in 2019 Snowdon 12K trail race) on trail running technique, applicable to road or trail
Snowdonia is such a stunning place to run, and the picture postcard village of Betws y Coed is the perfect place to start from, with its network of hidden trails that lace their way around lakes and through forests.
Time: 14:00 – 16:30
Beginners 14:00 to 16:30 at Betws y Coed
This Afternoon Session is designed for those who are new to trail running and won’t include any hills or mountains. The route will include forest trails and some slight ascents and descents but nothing extreme. The distance will be between 4 and 5 miles. Our pace will be easy going, with plenty of stops to rest and take lots of photos’ – you’ll definately want to capture this magical part of the world.
Geoff and a UK Athletics running leader will be with the group throughout.
